Mert and Kaan together

CrossBridge Advisory Services was born from a vision shared by two cousins, Mert Karabelli and M. Kaan Akalın.

 

Mert brings to CrossBridge Advisory Services a global perspective shaped by a rich career in technology and business. With a foundation in industrial engineering from Middle East Technical University, Mert's journey through the corporate landscapes of Unilever and SAP has honed his expertise in navigating complex markets and fostering collaborative partnerships. His dedication to exceeding customer expectations is matched by a passion for innovative problem-solving and leadership. Mert's commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his pursuit of knowledge at Harvard Business School Online, where he deepened his understanding of business analytics, financial accounting, and economics for managers.

After an insightful stint at YouTube's Dublin headquarters, where Kaan specialized in intellectual property, he returned to Izmir, bringing his international experience to the local legal landscape. Kaan has since provided comprehensive legal consulting and services, specializing in areas critical to real estate and business, including Real Estate and Construction Law, Labor Law, Immigration Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, and Administrative and Tax Law. He continues to offer his deep legal acumen to both domestic and international clients. Currently enhancing his expertise at Dokuz Eylül University with a Master's in Private Law focused on Competition Law and Personal Data Protection
